James Fagan Tait recently directed Crime and Punishment which he also adapted for a NeWorld presentation at the Roundhouse, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged at the Arts Club, Enough is Enough a community shadow play about alcoholism on the largest drive-in movie screen in north America in Enderby, The Mad Woman of Chaillot at Studio 58 where he also directed The Hotel Play and The Forced Marriage. In 2003 he was honoured with a Jessie nomination for his direction of Dragon Fly Drinking. Two seasons ago he directed a hundred folks in In The Heart of a City, the Downtown East Side community play.
